  • Historic capital of the Trégor area, former Episcopal town overlooking the Jaudy and Guindy rivers, home of Saint Yves and Ernest Renan. Sumptuous Romanesque cathedral (late 11th, early 12th century) and Gothic (14th - 15th century), cloister (15th century); alternating timber-framed (15th and 16th century) and stone facades (17th and 18th centuries); Ernest Renan Museum etc. Saint-Yves Pardon ceremony (patron of lawyers), 3rd Sunday in May. Guided tours on request.
