Petite Cité de Caractère de La Roche-Derrien

An ancient fortified town, built in the 11th century at the head of the estuary, on the banks of the Jaudy. Listed as a ‘Petite Cité de Caractère’, its medieval remains tell of the town's historic past: the old Maladrerie gateway, the Place du Pilori and the Place du Martray. The discovery trail and interactive tour will take you on a tour of the church of Sainte-Catherine d'Alexandrie, the chapel and calvary, and the timber-framed houses dating from the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries....
