The parish church dates from 1868 and was consecrated in 1874. It was built to replace an old building that had suffered the ravages of the Revolution, and to which an ossuary was attached.

With its spireless steeple and massive appearance, its exterior can be described as a church without style, as Alani Sonneck wrote in an article published in the weekly Le Trégor on 27 June 1981.
