Pluzunet's parish church is dedicated to Saint-Pierre.
The original Gothic building was enlarged in the 17th century by Charles de Boiséon, Seigneur de Coatnizan. Due to its poor state of repair, which was attested to as early as 1828, the church was rebuilt between 1847 and 1849, with the exception of the western part of the tower, the bell tower and the south porch, all of which date from the 17th century. Numerous flamboyant Gothic elements were reused in the construction, including pillars with colonnettes and a wall stoup, window fillings and an enfeu in the north transept.
The granite statue of the Virgin and Child, with its coat of arms, is set into the masonry under the porch with its lierne and hanging key.
The church's furnishings are also worthy of note, including
- a lectern (17th century)
- a pulpit (18th century);
- a confessional (1737);
- old statues including Saint-Pierre; Saint-Paul, the hermit; Sainte-Vierge, Saint-Brieuc, Saint-Guillaume, Saint-Yves ;
- a more recent statue of Saint-Idunet;
- a high altar (choir) ;
- two altarpieces (north and south transepts) ;
- two processional banners;
Inside the church is a commemorative plaque in memory of Sister Jeanne Marie Guerguin, who died in China in 1900 and was beatified by Pope Pius XII in 1946.
The church has been listed as a Monument Historique since 1926.
It is open to the public on request from the town hall and is located on a hiking trail.
