Pleumeur-Bodou offers a rich variety of attractions, accessible from the many mountain-bike trails. Take for example the historic site of Cosmopolis, where you will find not only a reconstruction of the village of Asterix the Gaul, but also a Telecoms museum complete with Radome and a planetarium. Other trails take the coastal route along the sandy beaches then go inland to the heaths behind and afford superb views over the Côte de Granit Rose (Pink Granite Coast). Along these paths you will find chapels, fountains and megaliths, including the unusual Menhir de Saint-Uzec. And what better place to end than the Ile-Grande sea-bird sanctuary?
