Notre Dame de Kermassac'h chapel was founded in 1463 and rebuilt in 1753. It is set in the centre of a placître that also includes a fountain, a wash-house and a monumental cross. The stained-glass window in the chapel commemorates the battle of 2 February 1591 between the Protestant Leagueers from Paimpol and the Catholics from Tonquédec. Kermassac'h can be translated as the place of the massacre.
The building also houses a statue of Saint Maudez from Maudez Island.
A pardon is celebrated at Notre Dame de Kermassac'h on the first Sunday in July.
